CHALLENGE
RAN ONE is an international organization that provides resources and training for professional services firms, accountants, consultants and business advisors who serve small and medium size businesses. When they introduced a new program that ventured into an area outside of RAN ONE’s routine business, they knew they needed to create a brand and an informational brochure that clearly explained the purpose and benefits. The challenge with this particular project was that the structure and benefits are somewhat atypical for a business setting. The wording needed to be accessible and understandable to the reader without compromising the message to the target audience. That’s when Rick Solomon, RAN ONE’s Regional Global Leader, put out a call for marketing assistance.
SOLUTION
Since this program was truly different than anything on the market, it was no small task to create a logo and brochure that people would easily understand. bbr marketing was just one of many that responded to RAN ONE’s request, but it was the one that made the biggest impression. “Bonnie’s response was clear, correct, to the point and creative,” said Solomon. Bonnie asked Rick to complete a creative brief that detailed the purpose and message RAN ONE was trying to communicate, and the audience they wanted to reach. “The creative brief she sent was very thorough,” said Solomon. “It made me really think about what we wanted and needed. I appreciated the discipline of it.”
RESULT
Rick is very happy with the new logo and brochure. “Since the brochure is going into the hands of professional advisors, it was important that it clearly and concisely communicate what this program is about as well as be a piece the advisors would feel comfortable handing out. The advisors love the brochure and feel it captures the message perfectly.” As a result of the success of this project, Bonnie is speaking at RAN ONE’s upcoming conference, and Solomon is now recommending bbr marketing to member firms.
